Vistar Pictures is a full service independent film studio. Vistar Pictures operates on a new business model which combines the reduced production costs of independent filmmaking with studio-level distribution and marketing capabilities making its films competitive with major studio motion pictures. Unlike most independent production companies, we guarantee an entire distribution platform for all our films upfront and at a lower cost, passing the cost savings to investors. As the studios closed their specialty divisions and began to produce mega-budget 3D films, the overall supply of films decreased, which created a lucrative market opportunity for a new entrant, such as Vistar Pictures. Vistar Pictures has been created to become a new blueprint for independent film investing with a portfolio approach to film selection, less risk per dollar, more control over revenue generation and more transparency in accounting.

Vistar Pictures is currently developing a diversified commercial portfolio of six films. The portfolio approach offers the benefits of cross-collateralizing film revenues, reducing the overall risk of any individual production.

Vistar Pictures distinguishes itself from other independent production companies by guaranteeing domestic theatrical distribution of our films on 500 to 2,500 screens. Domestic theatrical distribution is a main driver of revenues in all foreign as well as domestic ancillary markets. By guaranteeing distribution, we offer investors control over revenue generation. We further guarantee to provide for each film individually tailored multi-faceted multi-media marketing and publicity campaigns, created by a top-tier publicity firm. Finally, by making a significant financial commitment for a domestic theatrical release, we are going to be able to secure an output deal with a major studio for ancillary and foreign markets once the distribution funds are in place and before any film is theatrically released.
